As I roam the streets of Cape Town in search of everything and anything to fulfill my appetite, one might argue that I’m slightly food obsessed. There are the fine dining nights, where I indulge myself in scallops, foie gras foam, poached quail eggs or miso-glazed kingklip. Other nights I am in ‘comfort mode’ and stuff my face with wings, a great burger or a fulfilling pizza.
I can be found having lunches, both warm and cold, in Cape Town trendiest places and have a preference for anything meaty or asian. Oh, and I have a soft spot for street food. I am no wine expert, but appreciate a good one from the other. And if you serve me a nice craft beer, I’ll be just as satisfied.
When I choose to take matters into my own hands, I love cooking roasts, curries or making a hearty soup. And yes, I have a sweet tooth too, and no day passes without at least one piece of chocolate.
